On Saturday in the Parish Centre at 12.30pm there will be a three-course charity lunch in aid of the Blind Children at the Al Shurooq School in Bethlehem priced at £9 payable on the day to include wine or fruit juice followed by coffee.
.On Sunday at 6.30pm the second of a four-week series of talks by the Revd Dr David Wenham from Trinity College Bristol will begin after a short form of Choral Evensong. The series is entitled “ Getting into the New Testament” and this week’s talk is ‘ Making sense of the Sermon on the Mount’.
On Saturday 18th September there is a concert in church at 7.30pm by the Jubilate Chamber Choir including organ music by Professor Ian Tracy of Liverpool Cathedral.
The Church of England Pensions Board is our nominated charity for September. As well as administering the clergy pension scheme it also provides accommodation and benefits for retired Ministers. Retiring collections are taken at all services throughout the month.
