A fun, friendly group for everyone with talks, social occasions, outings and the annual New Year Dinner. Members also fundraise for charities and have raised £2,000 to train a hearing dog and £2000 for a Riding Horse for the Disabled.
The Friends was set up as an independent charity to advance the Christian faith by assisting in the maintenance of the fabric of the church and enhancing the fittings, ornaments, monuments and churchyard.
Since its formation, the Friends has spent over £24,000 on projects such as replacement of the chancel carpet, refurbishment of noticeboards, handrails into St David’s chapel and seat cushions for all the pews. The group fundraises through the sale of cards and other goods, but also organises a variety of popular social activities and outings throughout the year. New members are always welcome.
