Comfort and Joy for Christmas
Very many thanks to more than 40 people who through this project helped bring the joy of Christ’s coming to the recipients at a very difficult time. Their overwhelmingly response was gratitude for the love shown to them by St Mary’s. Fifty people received a Christmas meal with a goodie bag and a further 20 were given goodie bags. Most had a copy of the Church of England’s Comfort and Joy booklet.
These meals and gifts were made possible by your very generous donations of nearly £700 and the surplus will go to the Long Table allowing them to provide 75 meals to the vulnerable over the winter. Thank you.
