Lent

Lent this year is a little bit more complicated. The opportunity to gather as a community in person to share in a course of reflection and prayer cannot happen in same way as in years gone by.

Therefore we are going to invite those of you that are able to join us online via Zoom to do so. This year we are going to run a series of short (up to 30 minutes) reflections and prayers centred on various subjects. These sessions will be delivered on Monday evenings from February 22nd 202at 7.30pm.

The series will comprise:

Subject: Jesus and Prison
Monday February 22nd 7.30pm – Revd. Graham Bowkett

Subject: Jesus and Women
Monday March 1st 7.30pm – Mrs. Jean Huckett

Subject: Jesus and Places
Monday March 8th 7.30pm – Mrs. Alison Talbot

Subject: Jesus and Healing
Monday March 15th 7.30pm – Mr. Colin Revell

Subject: Jesus and Money
Monday March 22nd – Revd. Adrian Beere

To sign up anyone interested will need to send the vicar an email (vicarcharltonkings@gmail.com) before Saturday 20th February saying you wish to be part of the sessions. Some of you have already done this.

Before the sessions start, about 10 minutes before, I will send via email an invite. If that is not clear please do get in touch.

For Session One, the only thing you will need is a Bible and, if you can, a small candle – ooh and something to light it with!
